The cod brandade is a type of cream of Provençal origin, which gives it its name, from the French "brandade". This soft and creamy brandade is elaborated in an artisanal way, with natural products and without colorings or preservatives. The cod is boiled, crumbled and accompanied with olive oil, milk and garlic. This is a very beneficial food, since cod is one of the best allies to consume healthy fats, as well as certain vitamins and minerals that are not found in other foods. The brandade is a traditional dish spread throughout the Mediterranean area from Spain to Italy.
