In the area of influence of Cabañeros National Park, Quesos Cabañeros was born, a family business with more than 20 years of experience, dedicated to the breeding and manufacture of pure sheep cheese from its own livestock. From his well-taken care of livestock a raw material of excellent quality is obtained, with which they elaborate his precious cheese.
Cabañeros cheese cured is obtained from raw sheep's milk through a totally handmade manufacturing process. It has a minimum maturity of 5 months and, during the maturation, extra virgin olive oil is applied to the cheese, which adds flavor to its natural rind. When cut, an intense ivory color is observed, with eyes of different sizes. Its smell is pleasant, typical of raw milk cheeses, it has a very intense flavor and a smooth texture.
