Single variety CENCIBEL grape, controlled by the winery during the ripening process and picked in the optimum moment of maturity. Aged in oak barrels in the cool tranquility of the winery’s ageing rooms before going onto the market.
It has a clean, bright appearance. The variety of shades in its color add to its attractiveness: ruby-burgundy red with light violet tones denote its youth and delicate brick-ocher tones its vintage. It has a strong, full bouquet which is clean, fragrant, fruity and persistent. It has a smooth, light almost silky texture and the taste is both lasting and flavorful. The retronasal aroma is clean and elegant with strong fruity touches.
It should be served at a temperature of 16-18ºC.
We recommend you serve it with red meats and roasts, as well as certain fish dishes such as cod or tuna in parsley sauce, poultry, and medium strength cheeses.
