This wonderful PDO murcian goat cheese gets its purple color and its particular aroma as it is soaked in red wine during the curing process. Among the main features of this cheese, we can highlight its acid flavor, its creamy texture and its cream, butter and goat’s milk aroma. The wine, which this cheese is made with, is produced in the region of Murcia; this way, wines such as those from Yecla and Jumilla, become the most appropriated ones to accompany this cheese.
